#AdriaClim: Kick-off meeting del progetto europeo AdriaClim

 AdriaClim è l’acronimo di Climate change information, monitoring and management tools for adaptation strategies in Adriatic coastal areas[1] ed è un progetto finanziato dal programma di cooperazione Interreg Italia Croazia, dedicato allo sviluppo di piani regionali e locali di adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici sulla base di informazioni scientifiche.

Il progetto è guidato dall’Agenzia regionale per la prevenzione, l´ambiente e l´energia dell’Emilia-Romagna (Arpae), comprende 19 partner, e coinvolge istituti di ricerca, università, agenzie ambientali italiane e croate.

Il Kick-off meeting[2] di AdriaClim si è svolto il 29 e 30 giugno in forma virtuale a causa delle misure riguardanti l’emergenza COVID-19.

Dopo una breve presentazione dei partner progettuali, la prima giornata è stata dedicata all’introduzione degli obiettivi generali di AdriaClim, assieme al cronoprogramma, le attività e i risultati attesi di ciascun Work Packages (WPs).

Nel secondo giorno sono stati trattati in particolare il WP1 (Management and administrative aspects) e il WP2 (Communication), inoltre si è costituito lo Steering Committee, che sovraintenderà l’intero progetto.

AdriaClim is the acronym for Climate change information, monitoring and management tools for adaptation strategies in Adriatic coastal areas[1] and it is a project funded by the Italy-Croatia Interreg Cooperation Programme, dedicated to support the development of science-based regional and local climate change adaptation plans.
The project is led by Agenzia regionale per la prevenzione, l´ambiente e l´energia dell’Emilia-Romagna (Arpae) and it involves 19 partners, bringing together research institutes, universities, environmental agencies from Italy and Croatia.
The Kick-off meeting[2] of AdriaClim was held on June 29th and 30th and, due to the safety measures related to COVID-19, it was organized online.
After a brief presentation of each project partner, the first day was dedicated to a general introduction to AdriaClim goals together with the Gantt and the technical Work Packages (WPs) activities and deliverables.
On the second day, the focus was on WP1 (Management and administrative aspects) and WP2 (Communication), in addition project members formed the Steering Committee, that will supervise the overall project development.
